Moseley Square

Moseley Square sits right where Jetty Road meets Glenelg Beach, forming the beating heart of the seaside suburb. Named after Henry J. Moseley, an early publican who championed the railway line to Glenelg, the square is home to the historic Glenelg Town Hall, the striking 11-metre Pioneers' Memorial obelisk, unveiled in 1936 to mark 100 years since South Australia's first British settlers landed nearby.

Moseley Square is also the terminus of the Glenelg tram, Adelaide's only remaining tram line, running since 1873 and connecting straight through to the CBD.
