Bay Discovery Centre

The Bay Discovery Centre is a social history museum housed in Glenelg's historic Town Hall on Moseley Square, a building that started life as the Glenelg Institute with its foundation stone laid in 1875. The museum tells the story of Holdfast Bay from the Kaurna people through European settlement to the beach culture of today, with permanent exhibitions covering the Proclamation, Colonel William Light and relics recovered from the original Glenelg Jetty.
